Welcome Grade 5's

This year we will be using our Moodle page to communicate. A link will be provided at the start of classes.

Here is a link to my Welcome Newsletter

I would love to visit with you for 10 minutes either in person or on the phone. I will be sending the form home for you to consider. Getting to Know You form

It is very important to me that we communicate on a regular basis in order to avoid misunderstandings. Your child is expected to copy homework items from the board into their Agenda or a note book each night. If your child has completed the homework in class, they are still required to bring the work home for you to review. Assessments will be sent home in a black Duotang. Please sign and review the material. Send me a note via email, phone or agenda  if you are concerned about the work.

Organization: Your child is encouraged to put and keep their work into their duotangs to avoid misplacements. Ensure that your child packs their own backpacks each night, making sure that all school items return each day.

Hello Parents & Students!

Welcome Back to Williamsburg! I hope that everyone had a fantastic summer. The weather was gorgeous and has cooled down in perfect time for us to enjoy a gentle breeze in the portable this September.

This school year we will be using a MOODLE to communicate with students and parents in addition to the school website. This is a class website designed to communicate more effectively with parents and students in a fun way!

Please refer to this website link on a regular basis so that your child may complete work assigned or simply allow you to see classroom due dates, assignments, important dates and even students work! Please copy this link so that you can access it easier. Our class password is lyonsden

Students will be shown how to use their usual login and password during the first week of school. They will be completing homework for the second week of school.

I will be collecting your email addresses in the first few days of school (see class newsletter coming home Tuesday) as well for the school newsletter which is sent via email only. I will also use your e-mail for important messages and communication. Please email me if you have any questions or concerns This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
